Marylyn Phillips

Marylyn was taught to dance by her mother Jackie Palmer and subsequently at The Place; New College for Speech and Drama; Her acrobatic coach was an ex Hungarian Circus Acrobat;  Qualifications are: AIDTA; ADB; LRAM (specialising in Mime). Marylyn won many festivals as a child and appeared in shows all over the country; as an adult she became a professional choreographer, working on pantomimes;  tv shows including Junior Showtime and in 1977 the Queen's Silver Jubilee Celebration at Windsor.      Having worked for the BBC in 1971 Marylyn started the Jackie Palmer Stage School alongside her mother. Marylyn also runs JPA ASSOCIATES incorporating Jackie Palmer Agency;  JPA YOUNG PERFORMERS and JPA MANAGEMENT (the adult agency). In 1971 Marylyn married Chris Phillips.
